UK's Brown backs U.S. move to drop missile shield
BRUSSELS |
BRUSSELS (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said on Thursday he strongly supported a decision by U.S. President Barack Obama to dump a Bush-era missile defense plan for Europe.
"I strongly support the decision that is being made by President Obama today," Brown told a news conference before a meeting of European Union leaders in Brussels.
