WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The contentious issue of industrial nations providing financial support for developing countries dealing with climate change was not expected to be a major focus of next week's G20 meeting, a top White House adviser said on Friday.

Michael Froman, a deputy national security adviser to President Barack Obama, said, however, leaders were expected to discuss the issue at the summit.
