Verizon Online Teams Up With Office Depot to Offer Small Businesses Across the
Country Additional Savings on Office Supplies
Discount Program Available at Verizon Small Business Center




NEW YORK, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- The Verizon Small Business Center is
teaming up with Office Depot to offer small businesses an opportunity for
significant discounts when purchasing office supplies.

Under the initiative, announced Monday (Sept. 21), businesses that are
enrolled in the Verizon Alliance Discount Program can receive discounts of up
to 12 percent when purchasing a vast assortment of products from Office Depot,
including office supplies, furniture, janitorial and printing products, and
more.  

To register, businesses need to log on to the Verizon Small Business Center's
Web site at http://business.verizon.net/marketplace and click on the "Office
Depot Discount Program" link found in the "Alliance Discount Program" section.

"Today, small businesses need all the help they can get, and we're doing our
best to assist them," said Monte Beck, Verizon's vice president for
small-business products and services. "Over the years, we have improved the
Verizon Small Business Center to be the best home page -- the one-stop online
resource for small business across the country -- offering tools, news,
discounts and even a platform to network with other small businesses."

In addition to the 12 percent discount, customers who order supplies from
Office Depot through the Verizon Small Business Center will also receive free
next-business-day delivery, in Office Depot's local delivery areas, on
qualifying online orders of $50 or more.  Verizon Online customers can also
request an Office Depot Store Purchasing Card to obtain the same savings when
shopping at any of the more than 1,000 Office Depot retail locations located
throughout the country.

The Verizon Alliance Discount Program allows Verizon to leverage its
relationships with leading companies to bring small businesses savings on key
services such as credit card processing, overnight delivery, and now office
supplies.
