Russia's Vimpelcom to buy up to $320 mln of bonds

MOSCOW, Sept 21 (Reuters) - Vimpelcom (VIP.N), Russia's second-largest mobile phone operator, said on Monday it would buy back up to $320 million of its bonds maturing in 2011 and 2013.

"We have announced a tender to buy back bonds," a Vimpelcom spokeswoman said.

She said Vimpelcom would accept up to a maximum amount of $320 million and its invitation would expire on Friday. (Reporting by Maria Kiselyova; editing by Robin Paxton)
