SEATTLE, WA, Sep 22 (MARKET WIRE) --
Seattle's famed OddFellows Building (www.oddfellowsbuilding.com), located
at 915 East Pine Street in Capitol Hill's Pike Pine Triangle Neighborhood
(www.pikepinetriangle.com), is welcoming four new businesses to its
recently restored historic-meets-modern spaces. The new tenants will add
to the building's creative vibe, and include: established Seattle
children's and fancier retailer flora and henri; a new
environmental-focused mercantile known as Nube Green; hydration tablet
creator nuun; and Smith-Harmon internet marketing firm.
"From the beginning, we have always hoped OddFellows would continue as a
community asset full of creative retailers and entities that suit the
neighborhood's eclectic vibe," said Ted Schroth, head of OddFellows LLC,
which purchased the 100-year-old building and began renovating it in early
2008. "With our spaces nearly full now, you walk through the building and
get a real sense of community. OddFellows is a gathering place where you
can work and play all in the same spot -- it's a mix of shopping, dining,
relaxing and office spaces all in one, set to a raw historic backdrop
that's been modernized."
Opening in October at 919 East Pine, right beside Molly Moon's Homemade
Ice Cream shop, will be Seattle-based flora and henri. The high-end
retailer, with boutiques in Seattle and New York, designs and
manufactures globally sought after children's clothing. Its new 800
square foot space will be filled with flora and henri's children's
merchandise as well as a collection of exquisite gift items from rare
labels that are suitable for shoppers of all ages.
Also on the ground floor -- sandwiched between the popular OddFellows Cafe
and Molly Moon's, and right next to flora and henri -- Nube Green plans to
open the doors on its 2,300 square foot mercantile store in November. This
retailer will carry a broad array of simple, fun and elegant gifts for the
ecologically minded consumer. The store will only sell products that have
not crossed any oceans, including locally made items from recycled and
sustainable materials. Nube Green will also carry its own line of
products.
"Nube Green chose the OddFellows Building because of the like-minded
energy of both the customers and tenants in the building, as well as the
neighborhood," said owner Ruth True. "Whether huddling for a beer in the
cafe, hitting up neighborhood coffee shops, or just people watching,
OddFellows is in the hub of all the action."
The two new upstairs office space tenants, nuun and Smith-Harmon, will
occupy the fourth (top) floor of the building. nuun has already moved its
13 employees into its edgy new 2,750 square foot office space, where they
focus on hydration tablets loved by athletes and everyday health-conscious
people alike. Beginning November 1, Smith-Harmon marketing firm will
relocate to its new 6,200 square foot OddFellows headquarters. The firm
provides premier email marketing strategies to leading Fortune 500 brands.
With the new tenants taking residence, OddFellows now plays home to
numerous companies, including Seattle's much-loved Century Ballroom, the
Velocity Dance Center, Two9 Design, Pevoto Architects and the Seattle
Running Company -- several of which have remained at OddFellows after the
building's purchase by OddFellows LLC last year.
Only four unoccupied spaces remain available for lease in
OddFellows,
including:
-- First floor: 1,772 retail square feet, with 16-foot ceilings, adjacent
to the Seattle Running Company
-- Second floor: a unique 2,643 square foot open space with 25-foot
ceilings, located directly above OddFellows Cafe
-- Third Floor: 2,381 square feet with pristine arched windows and a view
of Cal Anderson park, situated directly above the popular Tin Table
restaurant
-- Fourth Floor: 6,099 square feet (divisible into four spaces of
approximately 1,500 square feet each), complete with skylights, exposed
steel trusses and more industrial features
