Netanyahu: all agree talks should start soon
NEW YORK |
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Israeli and Palestinian leaders agreed that peace talks should be relaunched as soon as possible during a meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama on Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.
"There was general agreement, including on the part of the Palestinians, that the peace process has to be resumed as soon as possible with no preconditions," Netanyahu told reporters in New York.
