Mexico's Cemex prices ADRs for $12.50, raises $1.625 bln

NEW YORK, Sept 22 (Reuters) - Mexico's Cemex, the world's No. 3 cement maker (CMXCPO.MX) (CX.N), priced American Depositary Receipts for $12.50 each in its stock offering on Tuesday and sold 130 million ADRs, one of the issue's underwriters said.

Total proceeds came to $1.625 billion.

Cemex plans to offer U.S. and local investors 1.2 billion ordinary shares with an over-allotment of another 180 million as part of a $15 billion debt restructuring deal. (Reporting by Phil Wahba; Editing by Gary Hill)
