TeliaSonera shares up on talk of France Tel interest
STOCKHOLM, Sept 23 (Reuters) - TeliaSonera (TLSN.ST) shares rose as much as 5 percent in early trade on Wednesday on renewed market talk of interest by France Telecom (FTE.PA).
A spokesman at the Nordic region's biggest telecom operator declined to comment. France Telecom also said it had no immediate comment, saying it did not comment on market rumours.
TeliaSonera shares were up 3.5 percent by 0723 GMT in heavy trading.
"There is speculation that France Telecom is looking at TeliaSonera again, SEK 60 level mentioned," a London-based trader said.
