Mexico's Cemex shares recover, rise after offering

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Shares of Mexico's Cemex (CMXCPO.MX) recovered from sharp early losses on Wednesday to gain 4.41 pct to 17.99 pesos after a major share offering.

The world's No. 3 cement maker sealed a $1.8 billion share offer on strong demand late on Tuesday in a sign of investor optimism in the debt-laden company's recovery.
