Nicox submits Naproxcinod application with FDA

PARIS, Sept 25 (Reuters) - French drug company Nicox (NCOX.PA) said on Friday it has submitted a new drug application for its anti-inflammatory drug Naproxcinod for osteoarthritis to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The company said in a statement it plans to sumbit a Marketing Authorization Application (MAA) for naproxcinod to the European Medicines Agency (EMEA) in the fourth quarter of 2009.
