China calls on Iran to work with nuclear watchdog
PITTSBURGH |
PITTSBURGH (Reuters) - China urged Iran on Friday to cooperate with the U.N. nuclear watchdog after Tehran's disclosure of a second uranium enrichment plant prompted condemnation by Western leaders.
"We hope that Iran will cooperate with the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) on this matter," a Chinese foreign ministry spokesman said at the Group of 20 summit in Pittsburgh.
