DUBAI (Reuters) - Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden has issued a new audio message addressed to European peoples, the U.S.-based SITE monitoring service said on Friday.

It was not immediately clear what the message contained.

SITE said English- and German-language subtitled versions of the message were posted on the Internet. Germany holds a parliamentary election on Sunday.

Bin Laden's last message was addressed to the American people and was posted a few days after the eighth anniversary of the Sept 11, 2001, attacks.
