Jane Wiedlin (of the Go-Go's) and Thomas Lennon (star and co-creator of "Reno
911") to appear and bowl on October 27 at Jillian's on Universal City Walk
LOS ANGELES--(Business Wire)--
Busted Foundation announced today that it`s "got a double header" for its
upcoming annual Bowling for Boobies fundraising event by adding international
music star Jane Wiedlin and Thomas Lennon, who plays Lieutenant Jim Dangle on
Comedy Central's "Reno 911." Lennon will also be auctioning off on eBay one of
his uniforms from the hit "Reno 911." On Tuesday, Oct. 27 at Jillian's on
Universal City Walk, Wiedlin and Lennon will appear and bowl, helping raise
money to support local women dealing with financial devastation as a result of
breast cancer.

"I am thrilled to be back and bowling with this amazing event! I am honored to
have been a supporter of Bowling for Boobies since it began in 2004. The need
for health care support is on everyone's minds right now and this is my way of
making a difference. Boobs are hot, cancer is not!" said Wiedlin.

The proceeds raised from this event help Busted Foundation provide monetary
assistance to local women experiencing financial challenges as the result of
fighting and living with breast cancer. Donations go directly to support these
women.

Bowling for Boobies asks bowlers to organize teams of six people raising a team
goal of $6,000 for women who are fighting breast cancer. On October 27, 2009
(6:00pm - 9:00pm) the teams come together to bowl at Jillian's, Universal City
Walk. Teams and individuals are eligible for prizes in this high energy,
incredibly colorful and outrageous social event. Raffle tickets and prizes will
also be available.

"Let's rack 'em up to support the rack!" said Stefanie LaHart, founder of
Busted. "We are ready for a night of fun and fundraising. Breast cancer is
devastating and this is our way of raising awareness and money for women on the
front lines of the breast cancer battle." Those not in the area who wish to
contribute are encouraged to make a direct donation via
www.bowlingforboobies.com and receive event updates via Twitter:

All told, prior Bowling for Boobies events have raised almost $164,000 to
benefit women fighting breast cancer.
