Bowling for Boobies announces its first sister city, Philadelphia, to host an
official event on October 27 at Strikes Bowling Lounge, Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA--(Business Wire)--
Busted Foundation today announced the national rollout of their highly
successful breast cancer fundraiser, Bowling for Boobies, to sister city
Philadelphia. The official Philadelphia event will be held simultaneously with
the Los Angeles event on Tuesday, October 27 at Strikes Bowling Lounge in
downtown Philadelphia. The event will help raise money to support local women
dealing with financial devastation as a result of breast cancer.

This Philadelphia event is the first of a national rollout with more cities to
be announced next year. Bowling for Boobies, the trademarked breast cancer event
produced by Busted Foundation, is currently in its fifth year.

The proceeds raised from Bowling for Boobies help Busted Foundation provide
monetary assistance to local women experiencing financial challenges as the
result of fighting and living with breast cancer. Donations go directly to
support these women who are overwhelmed with medical bills and their ongoing
treatment.

Bowling for Boobies asks bowlers to organize teams of six people who raise a
team goal of $6,000 (or $1,000 per person) for women who are fighting breast
cancer. On October 27, 2009 (7:00pm - 10:00pm) all of the teams come together to
submit their contributions and bowl at Strikes Bowling Lounge, Philadelphia.
Teams and individuals are eligible for prizes in this high energy, incredibly
colorful and outrageous social event. Raffle tickets and prizes will also be
available.

"Bring it on sister!" said Christina Fanning, Event Chairperson of Bowling for
Boobies Philadelphia. "I love a little competition and I cannot think of a
better way to bring awareness and support to the many women who are fighting the
tough fight of breast cancer." Those not in the area who wish to contribute are
encouraged to make a direct donation of any amount online via the Web site,
www.bowlingforboobies.com and receive event updates via Twitter:
http://www.twitter.com/bowling4boobies.

All told, prior Bowling for Boobies events have raised almost $164,000 to
benefit women fighting breast cancer.
