CANADA STOCKS-TSX falls as energy, financial shares weaken

TORONTO, Sept 29 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index turned negative shortly after the open on Tuesday morning as energy and financial shares weakened, while investors grew cautious after a weaker-than-expected U.S. consumer confidence report.
At 10:01 a.m. (1401 GMT), the S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 4.52 points at 11,334.20. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; editing by Peter Galloway)
