TOKYO, Sept 30 (Reuters) - Japanese Finance Minister Hirohisa Fujii said on Wednesday that Tokyo had no plans to bring up the yen's recent rise at a weekend Group of Seven finance leaders' meeting.

Asked whether Japan would bring up the issue at the gathering in Istanbul, Fujii told reporters: "No, I don't have such a plan."

G7 finance ministers and central bank governors will meet on Saturday on the sidelines of World Bank and International Monetary Fund meetings in Istanbul. (Reporting by Leika Kihara and Stanley White)
