Sept 30 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1315 GMT on Wednesday.

* BAGHDAD - A bomb planted on a car killed a man and wounded his wife in Baghdad's northern district of Adhamiya, police said.

* BAGHDAD - A bomb planted on a minibus carrying university students killed one student and wounded eight others in southern Baghdad's neighbourhood of Abu Dsheer, police said.

MAHMUDIYA - Gunmen killed three Iraqi soldiers and wounded another when they attacked an army checkpoint in Mahmudiya, 30 km (20 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.

KIRKUK - Police arrested eight militants south of Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb on Tuesday wounded five civilians in Baghdad's southern district of Doura, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb wounded three policemen and two civilians when it struck a police patrol in eastern Baghdad on Tuesday, police said.

MOSUL - On Tuesday, Iraqi police found a woman's dead body north of Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. The woman had been shot.
