Dollar briefly extends losses vs yen after ADP data

NEW YORK, Sept 30 (Reuters) - The dollar briefly extended losses against the yen on Wednesday after a report showed the U.S. economy lost higher-than-expected private sector jobs in September.

Markets were expecting job losses of 210,000. See [ID:nWEN4178]

The dollar fell to 89.38 yen JPY= from 89.51 yen previously. It last traded at 89.59 down 0.6 percent.

The euro briefly extended gains versus the dollar, but came back down. It was last at $1.4628, still up 0.3 percent.
