BRIEF-Italy Sept car sales up 6.77 pct-ministry

MILAN Oct 1 (Reuters) - Italy's Transport Ministry provided figures for new car registrations for September on Thursday.
* New car registrations up 6.77 percent at 189,476 units
* Registrations for cars from Fiat SpA's (FIA.MI) three brands up 9.4 percent at 59,723 units, according to Reuters calculations
* Fiat's September market share 31.52 percent from 30.75 percent a year ago, according to Reuters calculations
* Fiat's market share was 33.72 percent in August, according to Reuters calculations
