SYDNEY Oct 1 (Reuters) - Macquarie Airports MAP.AX, which owns and runs airports in Sydney, Europe and Mexico, plans to raise money through a 1-for-11 rights issue at A$2.30 per stapled security, the firm said on Thursday.

The announcement followed the company's move to internalise its management and buy out the existing management rights held by Macquarie Group (MQG.AX) for A$345 million ($305 million). ($1=1.131 Australian Dollar) (Reporting by Mark Bendeich; Editing by Jonathan Standing)
