Dennis Hopper released from hospital
LOS ANGELES |
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - "Easy Rider" star Dennis Hopper has been released from a New York hospital after checking in with flu-like symptoms and being treated for dehydration, his manager said on Thursday.
Hopper, 73, checked into the hospital on Wednesday when he felt ill during a trip to New York.
"He was treated for dehydration, and is now back in his hotel room and feeling much better," Hopper's manager, Sam Maydew, said in a statement.
Hopper starred and directed 1969 movie "Easy Rider," and currently he appears in the television adaptation of the 2004 film "Crash."
