Amalgamation of Kinbauri Gold Corp. and Orvana Minerals Acquisition Corp.

TORONTO, ONTARIO, Oct 05 (MARKET WIRE) --
Orvana Minerals Corp. (TSX: ORV) and Orvana Minerals Asturias Corp. today
announced that Kinbauri Gold Corp. and Orvana Minerals Acquisition Corp.,
each wholly-owned subsidiaries of Orvana Minerals Corp., were amalgamated
effective October 1, 2009 to form Orvana Minerals Asturias Corp.

Following Orvana's acquisition of all of the issued and outstanding
common shares of Kinbauri by way of a compulsory acquisition pursuant to
the provisions of the Canada Business Corporations Act, Kinbauri's common
shares were delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange, effective at the
close of business on September 25, 2009, and application was made to the
relevant provincial securities commissions for Orvana Minerals Asturias
Corp. to cease to be a reporting issuer.
