The journal aims to provide the materials engineering community with high

vessel technology; turbine technology and power generation generally.

The audience is those with a particular interest in materials engineering
research and with a desire to see appropriate application of the materials in an
engineering context. The readership therefore includes mechanical engineers with
an interest in materials and materials researchers with an interest in the
prospective application of their material. The mechanical engineering field
covers those in industry, research and academia covering fundamental mechanics
through to thermodynamics and fluid mechanics applications.

This journal is published four times a year.
