Life Healing Center, a comprehensive residential care facility

to announce the appointment of Russell Dean, MS, LMHC, to Executive
Director.

Dean has over 25 years of experience in the fields of adult and adolescent
mental health and substance abuse counseling and rehabilitation.
Previously, he served as Chief Executive Officer of a 100-plus bed,
Alabama psychiatric hospital and residential treatment center for
children and adolescents with primary psychiatric disorders and
co-occurring conditions such as mental retardation, learning disabilities
or physical/sexual abuse victimization. He was also Chief Executive
Officer for a 101-bed adult and adolescent psychiatric and chemical
dependency treatment facility in Georgia, as well as Chief Executive
Officer for The Brown Schools and Charter Behavioral Health Systems of
Jacksonville, Florida.

A U.S. Air Force veteran and former military instructor, Dean earned his
Master of Science degree from the University of North Florida in
Jacksonville and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed
Practical Nurse. In addition, he is a former adjunct faculty member at a
major university, teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
