New Cyberwave CI Designed to IEC Standards





RICHMOND, Va., Oct. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Thomas & Betts introduces the
new Cyberwave CI, a true online, double-conversation UPS designed to IEC
standards. Part of the Cyberex(®) family of uninterruptible power systems,
Cyberwave CI represents a highly cost-effective solution for critical
applications in petro-chemical, oil and gas, power generation, and heavy
manufacturing processes. 


Cyberwave CI features Cyberex's hallmark rugged electrical design and
incorporates state-of-the-art system topology for increased efficiency and
battery life. Ranging from 10-160 kVA, Cyberwave CI systems utilize PWM
inverter technology and fiber optic data paths for enhanced, accurate controls
and communication. Designed for a 20 year life, these systems also offer DSP
digital controls, parallel redundancy, and rugged overload and fault clearing
capabilities. For critical industrial applications, Cyberwave CI ensures
increased system reliability and security that only come from having truly
uninterruptible power.
