ITASCA, ILL.--(Business Wire)-- IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announced today an agreement with a global defense, security and aerospace company. The contract, valued at over $2 million, is for IFS Applications licenses, consulting services, and maintenance and support. IFS Applications` Financials, Distribution, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Engineering, and HR components will be used for a new program which will support various defense projects within the United States. Aerospace & Defense is a targeted industry vertical for IFS. IFS Applications` strength in enterprise asset management (EAM), maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) and defense manufacturing is complemented by its fully integrated project tracking and product data management (PDM) capabilities. IFS Applications is a best-practice solution for fleet management, MRO and supply chain management in A&D.
