Easy-Access Tool Provides Breaking Medical News, 24/7, to Busy Clinicians at
the Point of Care - or Anywhere

LITTLE FALLS, N.J., Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- MedPage Today's new iPhone and iPod
touch application, release 1.1, is available as a free download through the
iTunes store and on the MedPage Today website.

Providing easy access to MedPage Today's 24/7 breaking medical news coverage,
the MedPage Today Mobile app for the iPhone and iPod touch becomes a
point-of-care tool for monitoring and responding to the dynamic and changing
medical treatment landscape faced by today's busy medical professionals.

MedPage Today is already a workflow tool used primarily during the practice
day by clinicians to help them respond to the daily questions their patients
ask about breaking news they are receiving via the consumer media. The MedPage
Today articles, conference reports, and scientific developments delivered
through the iPhone/iPod touch application provide the professional-level
information clinicians need to analyze the breaking news and provide clear and
comprehensive patient direction -- at the point of care. This daily engagement
also puts clinicians in a proactive position of being knowledgeable at the
moment the information is available, enabling them to alert affected patients
in their practice and address their concerns.

"The MedPage Today Mobile app elevates the usability of the regular MedPage
Today service to a whole new level," according to Robert Stern, president and
CEO of MedPage Today. "Time-strapped clinicians can now access breaking
medical news, medical conference reports, continuing medical education
(CME/CE) activities, and all of the features offered on MedPage Today, quickly
and easily, wherever they are, with a few taps on their iPhone or iPod touch.
It's a convenient, portable, and fun way for healthcare professionals to stay
current on the news and other information they need to better address their
patients' concerns."

Through MedPage Today's partnership with the University of Pennsylvania School
of Medicine, all articles are peer reviewed by a team of physicians under the
direction of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine to ensure the
quality and accuracy of the information being reported.

In addition, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, physician assistants, and allied
health professionals can earn CME/CE credit for reading articles on MedPage
Today.

The MedPage Today Mobile application for the iPhone and iPod touch will be
continually updated to respond to the real daily practice demands of the
clinician at the point of care.
