VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Oct 05 (MARKET WIRE) --
As Vancouverites prepare for Thanksgiving on October 12 and the busy
holiday season ahead, they now have a tasty plant-based 'centre of the
plate' protein to complement their meat-free meals; thanks to Garden
Protein International, the Vancouver-based makers of gardein(TM), a
wholesome line of tasty plant-based foods.
Flavourful and fulfilling 'gardein stuff'd turk'y roast' is available now
in the deli section of Whole Foods Markets and Capers throughout the
Vancouver region.
'gardein stuff'd turk'y roast' can be cooked onsite at Whole Foods Market
or Capers or prepared at home. The cooking instructions are simple. Bake
gardein from a frozen state at 350 degrees Fahrenheit in the oven for
25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches a minimum of 165
degrees. To serve, dress with a vegan gravy or cranberry sauce.
Today, a variety of gardein products are available in the fresh sections
of grocery stores in Canada and the United States. gardein is a tasty
blend of plant-based proteins with a meaty-texture made with veggies and
grains. It contains no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives, is
free of trans fats and cholesterol and is good for you and the planet.
