HOUSTON, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Argus, the international energy price
reporting agency, today launches Argus Natural Gas Americas, a new daily
publication covering the spot markets in North American natural gas.

The addition of natural gas means Argus now provides pricing intelligence for
all the major energy markets in North America. Argus is already a leading
provider of pricing data in European natural gas, power, coal, biomass and
emissions markets.

"Natural gas in North America has been a gap in the Argus portfolio for too
long," Argus Media's chairman and chief executive Adrian Binks says. "Our
clients have been asking us to enter this market, and we have listened."

Argus Natural Gas Americas publishes daily prices for more than 75 hubs in the
US and Canada, using transactional data provided by market participants to
calculate volume-weighted average indexes. Bidweek indices are also calculated
each month at over 60 hubs. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Ferc)
approved Argus natural gas indexes for use in jurisdictional tariffs on 27
August 2009.

The report features regional commentary, national market overviews and
market-moving news. Charts and graphs offer an at-a-glance view of key
information such as national storage, pipeline capacity, US daily supply and
demand.
