EP GLOBAL OPPORTUNITIES TRUST PLC (the "Company")

Based on a bid price valuation, the unaudited net asset value per Ordinary
Share of the Company as at 2 October 2009 was 169.3 pence including estimated
current period revenue and 167.4 pence excluding current period revenue.

This is based on 29,369,180 Ordinary Shares, being the issued capital of
32,654,180 Ordinary Shares less 3,285,000 Ordinary Shares held in treasury.
