Broadband, Entertainment Convergence Execs Lead Star Speaker Line-Up at
TelcoTV 2009
Seven keynotes, 60 speakers, and 44 sessions in the greatest broadband TV
event to date

IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Top names from AT&T, Sony Pictures, and
Nokia Siemens will be among the keynote speakers at this year's TelcoTV
Conference and Expo. They head an impressive line-up of over 60 speakers in
total, reflecting a broad mix of service providers, standards bodies, industry
forums, and vendors in what is recognized as the premier meeting place for the
many industries involved in the convergence of the entertainment and
communications markets.


John Donovan, Chief Technology Officer for AT&T, and author of The Value
Enterprise and Value Creating Growth, launches the keynote program at 8:30
a.m. on Wednesday, November 11. As overseer of AT&T's global technology
direction and innovation road map, including product development, network, and
engineering operations at AT&T Labs, he will provide invaluable insight into
industry developments at the highest level.  Following him is a second keynote
by Ramu Potarazu, Chief Executive Officer of the newly formed Avail-TVN Media
- that day's Breakfast Seminar sponsor, presenting Video Over Broadband: TV's
Friend or Foe?.Brook Longdon, head of Global Home Entertainment for Nokia
Siemens Networks, speaks next. Longdon is responsible for business and overall

Mitch Singer, Chief Technology Officer, Executive Vice President of New Media
and Technology at Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc., launches Thursday's
keynote session.  Singer, who also is president of the Digital Entertainment
Content Ecosystem (DECE), is responsible for coordinating digital policy
across all Sony Pictures's businesses, with a keen focus on emerging and
disruptive technologies. He is responsible for developing new digital usage
models as well as coordinating Sony Pictures's worldwide, anti-piracy
