Ulmer & Berne LLP announced today that Kenneth F. Berg has been appointed
partner-in-charge of the Firm`s Chicago office. In addition to his legal
practice, Mr. Berg will handle the daily management of the Chicago office, which
recently moved into a larger space to accommodate the current and projected
growth.

office, it became necessary to appoint a partner-in-charge there," stated Kip

competition litigation; and general contract litigation. He has successfully
defended class actions in New York and Chicago federal courts. Mr. Berg received
his J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School in 1979 and his A.B., magna
cum laude, from Washington University in 1976.
