Cirrus Logic Raises Q2 Revenue Guidance

Earnings Conference Call Set for Oct. 20

Cirrus Logic Inc. (Nasdaq: CRUS)today announced that the company expects net
revenue for the second fiscal quarter, which ended on Sept. 26, 2009, to be up
48 percent sequentially to approximately $55.7 million, an increase from the
previous forecast of $48 million to $52 million. The increase in revenue is
primarily driven by stronger than previously anticipated demand for audio
products. 

The company expects gross margin to be at the upper range of the previous
guidance estimate of 50 percent to 52 percent. Combined R&D and SG&A expenses
are now expected to be approximately $24.1 million, and include an estimated
$1.8 million in share-based compensation, and amortization of
acquisition-related intangible expenses. 

Cirrus Logic also announced that it will hold its quarterly conference call to
discuss second quarter, fiscal year 2010 financial results on Tuesday, Oct. 20,
2009, at 10:30 a.m. EDT. Cirrus Logic will release the company's financial
