Wounded Soldiers Cycle from Fayetteville to Charlotte

Soldier Ride is a rehabilitative cycling program of the Wounded Warrior
Project (WWP). Rides serve as both physical and emotional healing
opportunities for wounded warriors, and raise public awareness for those that
have been severely injured during the current war on terror.
Wounded Warrior Project is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to honor
and empower wounded warriors. WWP offers services and programs like benefits
and career counseling, advocacy initiatives and combat stress seminars to help
warriors on the road back to independent and productive lifestyles. All
warrior participants are provided with adaptive equipment to participate in
the ride.

Thursday, October 8, 9:00am:
-- The 20 mile ride through Fort Bragg will commence at Wilson Park and
continue through major command areas.
Raleigh, N.C.
Friday, October 9, 9:30am:
-- Kick-off ceremony at the Bicentennial Mall. Riders should reach the
"finish line" between 12:30pm and 2:00pm at The Commons at North Hill.

Saturday, October 10, 10:00am:
-- The ride will begin at the zMAX Dragway and continue through downtown
Charlotte, ending at Bank of America Stadium. Route will be posted on
