PALATINE, Ill.--(Business Wire)--
OSP magazine today announced solid attendance at OSP EXPO 2009 which took place
September 2-3 at the Minneapolis Convention Center, Minneapolis, MN. Despite
poor economic trends, pure attendance at the event was flat over the 2008 event.
Complete attendee registration comprised of Telecom professionals from more than
80 service providers representing all 50 states, and more than 20 countries.

Preliminary survey results indicate that 95.7% of exhibitors were satisfied with
the overall show experience (OSP EXPO 2009 Post-Event Survey). "OSP EXPO 2009
bucked the economic trend with a well-attended and energetic tradeshow. The
opportunity to interface with the many service providers that supported the show
has opened new pathways for future success for Charles Industries," said, Minesh
Patel, VP, OSP Business Unit, Charles Industries, Ltd.

The exhibition featured more than 170 telecom exhibitors focusing on telecom`s
outside plant infrastructure. Other events taking place at OSP EXPO included:
the Qwest Educational Series, where 400 engineers participated from the Qwest
engineering organization, meetings held by AT&T`s Cross Functional Sourcing
Teams, and PAETEC.

Fifty experts spoke at educational summits, and at advanced and regular seminars
where programs were near capacity, many with standing room only. Keynote
presentations by Bob Tregemba, Executive Vice President, Network Operations,
Qwest Communications, and the Thought Leaders Live Panel were well received and
attended. Listen to the audio recordings of Day One and Day Two keynotes.

"OSP EXPO has become THE place providers come for objective and free educational
summits and seminars. It`s THE venue they trust to host their own closed-door
meetings on site," stated Sharon Vollman, Editorial Director/Vice President, OSP
magazine. "In this economic environment, the Telecom community is hungry for
cost-efficient education, networking, and products that solve problems they
face. OSP EXPO delivers all that in spades."
