DALLAS, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The Dallas Regional Chamber announced today
that Catherine Rodewald, President, Prudential Asset Resources and Managing
Director/Chief Information Officer, Prudential Mortgage Capital Company, is
the recipient of the 2009 ATHENA Award® . The ATHENA Award®  is a national
program that recognizes the accomplishments of a Dallas businesswoman. The
presentation of the award will take place at the 2009 Women's Business
Conference luncheon on November 6, 2009 at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel (400 N.
Olive St., Dallas, TX 75201).


The ATHENA Award®  is open to individuals who strive toward the highest levels
of professional accomplishment, excel in their chosen field, devote time and
energy to their community in a meaningful way and forge new paths encouraging
others to follow.  Administered today through the non-profit ATHENA

Catherine Rodewald is the President, Prudential Asset Resources, and Managing
Director/Chief Information Officer of Prudential Mortgage Capital Company. 
Prior to her work at Prudential, Catherine was the Vice President and first
Chief Information Officer at Hunt Consolidated Inc.


Catherine's industry leadership roles include: Prudential Mortgage Capital
Company's Senior Management team and Advisory board; Prudential's CIO Cabinet;
Prudential Small Grants Committee; Mortgage Bankers Association; Executive
Committee of the American Petroleum Institute General Committee on Information
Management and Technology; governor-appointee on the Board of Directors, Texas
State Board of Public Accountancy.


Catherine's community involvement includes significant participation in the
Dallas Regional Chamber, Dallas Women's Forum, International Women's Forum,
Menttium, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and YWCA of Dallas.  Her care and
compassion for the betterment of women and her focus on the mentoring and
development of business and professional women and on advancing the plight of
the underserved for enhanced opportunities is evident in all her endeavors.
