RE: Holdings In Other Investments
Egypt Trust 

In accordance with the UKLA Listing Rule LR15.6.8, the Egypt Trust announces
that as at September 30, 2009, 0% of its total net assets were invested in other
UK listed investment companies (including investment trusts) which did not have
stated investment policies to invest no more than 15% of their assets in other
UK listed investment companies (including investment trusts).
