Video: American Heroes Challenge to Raise Money to Build World-Class Veterans Memorial in Las Vegas First-ever competition for law enforcement, military teams to benefit charity LAS VEGAS, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- American Heroes Challenge will present a two-day multi-stage firearms and tactics competition designed to test the technical, tactical, and physical capabilities of the nation's armed forces and first responders from all over the country. All of the proceeds from this event will go toward the goal of raising at least $1 million for the construction of a world-class Veterans Memorial in Las Vegas. Twenty teams of four, consisting of military, law enforcement, and security professionals, will use innovative problem-solving methods, teamwork, and their special skill sets to complete tasks in scenarios designed to push the limits of their abilities and determine which team is the best of the best. Teams will be competing for more than $100,000 in awards and prizes. The American Heroes Challenge will take place in Las Vegas on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8 to kick-off Veterans' Week and the competition is open to the public. Each of the six stages of the event is named in honor of a fallen individual who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Participants will compete in events encompassing low-light operations, manual breeching, building searches, injured operator rescue and rapid deployment skills. The American Heroes Challenge is a charitable organization created to pay tribute to members of the military, law enforcement and first responder communities.
