SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Clickability, Inc., the global leader in
on-demand Web Content Management (WCM), today announced that global
enterprise-management-software giant BMC Software has selected the
Clickability Platform to power its brand flagship website, BMC.com.

"Clickability allows BMC.com to play a whole new role in how we market and
sell our products," said David Greene, BMC's vice president of worldwide
marketing. "The analytics and flexibility of the Clickability Platform have
already enabled us to dramatically increase the direct, measurable impact of
our website on our sales pipeline. At the same time, the money we saved is
enabling us to continue improving the user experience for our global customers
in ways that were not possible before. All of this is opening new
conversations on how Marketing can support Sales and the business."

"BMC wanted to provide a better customer experience, track user behavior and
needs, and accelerate the sales cycle," said Michele Floriani, BMC's director
of brand management. "The Clickability Platform is easy to use, allowing us to
move much of our Web publishing into the hands of hundreds of business
stakeholders and shift some of our Web team resources to higher value
responsibilities in the Web program. It's a better run program and a better
experience for our customers."

As a prerequisite for BMC's CMS migration, the Clickability Platform was
required to integrate with various installed business applications, including
BMC's current Customer Master and Document Management systems.

"BMC is in the business of delivering solutions for IT efficiency, and we have
extremely robust IT systems and teams of our own," said Dan Zubkoff, BMC's
director of information technology. "Clickability was the only SaaS solution
with the infrastructure and service levels we require. The live-live data
centers, technical account management processes, support SLA and Akamai
integration were critical in our decision to choose Clickability. What's more,
business continuity and uptime are paramount because our website is the hub
for all parts of our business, including support, demand generation, sales
engagement, and brand building."

The multi-year deal between Clickability and BMC Software closed in late 2008.
Content migration of tens of thousands of content assets from the old system
and site implementation with the new design was completed in April 2009. See
