Fotoglif Expands Royalty-Free Online Image Site With Easy Upload for
Photographers, Addition of Stock Photo Catalog
Web Service Gives Bloggers, Social Media Users and Other Online Publishers
Access to More Than 3 Million Breaking News, Sports, Celebrity and Stock
Images

TORONTO, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Fotoglif, www.Fotoglif.com, today announced
new features for its royalty-free online image service and licensing platform,
which provides timely, professional-quality photos for use by bloggers, social
media fans and other Web authors.

Photographers can now add their own images to Fotoglif by using the new image
upload feature. They can post photo albums or single images directly to the
service for free, creating the opportunity to earn licensing fees from their
images. Fotoglif is also announcing the addition of a creative stock
photography section to its site. The new collection starts with some 500,000
creative images from several participating collections.

Thanks to a revised user gallery page, contributing photographers can now use
their own personal pages to promote their work for license. Fotoglif
publishers are able to track, share and follow images by theme, category,
keyword and photographer.

Photographers who post their albums on Fotoglif tap into revenue that is
generated from advertising views. Images are paired with small ads that travel
and make money for the photographer, blogger and advertiser wherever the
images are viewed or published. Photographers can easily track their daily
image use on their statistics page. Payments are made via PayPal.

"We're happy to have the new upload feature in place to make it very easy for
photographers to create new licensing opportunities for their images through
the Fotoglif service," said Fotoglif founder Mike Betts, who has personal
experience running an independent photo studio. "Adding stock creative images
to our site provides even more diversity for Web authors. Our site design has
also been updated to be even friendlier to use, thanks to feedback our
customers have shared since our launch in July."

Using Fotoglif is easy. Bloggers and other Web authors simply register at
http://fotoglif.com/signup to begin to benefit from the service. Once an image
is selected, the site helps the user choose the preferred image size and
alignment. Once the image code is copied and pasted, the image - fully
licensed - is added to the user's site pages or blog post. In addition, a
photo's location on Fotoglif can be easily shared right from the site to
colleagues through Twitter, Facebook, Digg or e-mail.
