Vringo Launches First Social Caller ID & Video Ringtone Application for
Android(TM) Devices

NEW YORK, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Vringo(TM), the next-generation ringtone
pioneer, today released the first social caller ID and video ringtone
application for Google Android phones, Vringo for Android: Beta.

Available as a free beta at http://android.vringo.com, the Vringo application
redefines the traditional caller ID experience letting users find, create and
continue to share full screen video ringtones with their friends. As with
other Vringo applications, Vringo for Android: Beta, turns every phone call
into a unique, highly visual experience, where users can make their own video
ringtones with the touch of a button, either by using their phone's camera to
develop on the fly creations or by uploading any video stored in their phone's
memory. Additionally, Android users can browse, in-app, a catalog of
thousands of free and premium video ringtones from Vringo's collection,
including premium content from Marvel Entertainment, Cartoon Network, Mobstar,
Adult Swim and more.

Vringo brings video caller ID to Android users by utilizing VringForward(TM),
Vringo's 'inverted ringback' technology. Coupled with Vringo's
'create-your-own-ringtone' feature, users can pre-record various status or
mood updates and quickly send them to their friends without talking to them.
This feature lets Vringo for Android: Beta users share videos not only with
other Android device users, but also those with BlackBerry, Symbian, Windows
Mobile and J2ME devices.

"In this era of net-connected, application-centric,
'able-to-do-a-million-and-one-things' mobile devices, it's easy to overlook
the most basic aspect of phone usage: making a call," said Vringo CEO Jon
Medved. "We've been obsessed with making this fundamental aspect of the phone
experience as dynamic and personal as any other, which you'll notice
immediately when you fire up Vringo's new Android application."

Vringo for Android: Beta is available for free at http://android.vringo.com.
During this beta stage, feedback and product suggestions are welcomed via
e-mail at feedback@vringo.com or Twitter at
