Thomas F. Frist, III Elected to SAIC Board of Directors

MCLEAN, Va. and SAN DIEGO, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SAIC, Inc. (NYSE:
SAI) today announced that Thomas F. Frist, III has been elected as a member of
the SAIC Board of Directors effective Sept. 23, 2009.
Frist has been a principal of Nashville-based investment company Frist
Capital, LLC since 1998. Prior to that, he co-managed FS Partners, LLC, and
worked at Rainwater, Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas and in New York. Since 2006,
Frist has served on the board of directors of HCA, Inc., a leading provider of
healthcare services that owns and operates approximately 163 hospitals and 105
freestanding surgery centers. From 1999 to 2006, he served on the board of
Triad Hospitals, Inc.
Frist received a B.A. degree from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from
Harvard Business School.
