Exxon sees Mon-Tues timeframe for Torrance restart
HOUSTON |
HOUSTON Oct 5 (Reuters) - Exxon Mobil Corp (XOM.N) said two shut units at its 150,000 barrel-per-day (bpd) Torrance, California, refinery were planned to go through the restart process Monday and Tuesday.
"I assume that will be the timeframe," said Exxon spokeswoman Aarti Ramachandran.
Exxon warned California pollution regulators on Sunday about possible planned flaring on Monday and Tuesday related to an equipment breakdown. (Reporting by Erwin Seba)
