NEW YORK | Mon Oct 5, 2009 7:44pm EDT

NEW YORK Oct 5 (Reuters) - Crippled securitization markets are a hindrance to economic recovery, New York Federal Reserve Bank President William Dudley said on Monday.

"It means the flow of credit to end-borrowers is somewhat impaired," Dudley said in response to an audience question following a speech at Fordham Law School. (Reporting by Pedro Nicolaci da Costa; Editing by Leslie Adler)
