'Twitter like it's 1999' Sweepstakes

SALT LAKE CITY, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Overstock.com, Inc. (Nasdaq:
OSTK) announced the weekend winners of its 10th Anniversary 'Daily Dig'
contest.  Marlene Williams of Valatie, New York is the winner of a Smart Phone
package.  Mary Boldin of Santee, California, has won a year of free gas. The
latest winner was Deb D of Fairfax, Virginia, who won a new Moped.  Deb is the
fourth winner of the ten day sweepstakes.


In Overstock.com's "Twitter like it's 1999" contest this weekend, Crystal Dunn
of Greenville, North Carolina won sheets; Mary Sievers of Pleasant Hill, Iowa
won a TomTom GPS unit; and Nell Carroll of Cedar Creek, Texas won a $250 Gift

The "Daily Dig" sweepstakes participants can visit www.overstock.com to find a
link to the contest page where contestants are given one clue each day to the
"Daily Dig." The daily clue will guide them to search and find a specific
product on the Overstock.com site. That day's specific product page will
feature a 10th Anniversary logo with a link to enter to win that day's prize.
Also on the contest entry page, participants can share the contest with
friends and family.


As part of the "Twitter Like its 1999" sweepstakes participants will need to
visit www.overstock.com/twitter1999 each day to see what prize is up for
grabs, and how to enter. To enter, participants will need to follow
Overstock.com on twitter (@overstock), visit www.overstock.com/twitter1999
each day through October 10th to see that day's 1999 Twitter theme. Users are
then asked to tweet what they were doing in 1999, according to that day's
contest theme (be sure to include the contest link and the #In1999 hash tag.)
