Dollar falls vs euro, yen after media report on dollar

TOKYO Oct 6 (Reuters) - The dollar fell against the euro and the yen on Tuesday after Britain's Independent newspaper reported that Arab states were in talks to end the use of the dollar for oil trading. [ID:nSYU007332]
The euro rose to $1.4682 from about $1.4664 EUR= and the dollar fell to about 89.14 yen from about 89.40 JPY= after news of the report.
