Samsung Techwin (012450.KS) will absorb Samsung Electronics' (005930.KS) CCTV-making business to avoid overlapping operations within Samsung Group [SAGR.UL], a group official said on Wednesday.

The Financial Services Commission said Wednesday that it had approved Korea Development Bank's launch of a financial holding company to be established on October 28.
