Berlusconi spokesman: court "politically motivated"

ROME (Reuters) - Italy's highest court's decision to overturn a law granting Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi immunity from prosecution was "politically motivated," his spokesman said on Wednesday.
"This is a politically-motivated sentence but Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, the government and the majority will continue to govern, as they have done since April 2008, in the way that Italians requested with their votes," Paolo Bonaiuti said in a statement.
