SAN FRANCISCO, CA and BERWYN, PA, Oct 08 (MARKET WIRE)
--
PivotLink, the leading provider of business intelligence solutions
delivered via Software as a Service (SaaS), and Boomi, the leader in
on-demand integration, today announced a strategic partnership to deliver
integration between PivotLink Solutions and packaged applications using
Boomi AtomSphere.

The partnership creates end-to-end integration and interoperability across
SaaS and on-premise applications in the Boomi AtomSphere, the industry's
first integration Platform-as-a-Service. PivotLink's 15,000 users can now
tap into hundreds of additional data sources for more than 1,300,000 ad
hoc reports they run each month. The solution accelerates time to value
for their deployments by making it easy to combine data from cloud
sources and packaged applications without IT developing and maintaining
separate connectors.

The solution helps customers enhance visibility into business trends and
opportunities by using PivotLink's secure, collaborative reports and
dashboards to tap into data across over 70 applications supported by
Boomi. These include Human Resource Management (HRM) (PeopleSoft and
Workday), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) (Siebel and
Salesforce.com), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) (SAP, Oracle and
NetSuite), and Marketing Automation (Aprimo and Marketo). The solution
also streamlines access to ODBC databases including IBM DB/2, Oracle and
Microsoft SQL Server, as well as XML-based data sources and applications
in industries such as financial services and insurance.

The companies will work closely together on joint marketing efforts and
are planning solution demonstrations at salesforce.com's seventh annual
user and developer conference, Dreamforce 09, the cloud computing event
of the year, November 17 - 20, 2009 in San Francisco.

"This partnership is evidence that the Cloud universe is maturing rapidly
as point solutions give way to end-to-end analytic platforms that provide
universal access to all the data needed for decisions," said Quentin
Gallivan, CEO of PivotLink. "It's no surprise that this innovation is
coming from PivotLink and Boomi, two SaaS pioneers who are accustomed to
eliminating the heavy lifting for IT and business users. It's a
significant step in delivering on the promise of on-demand business
analytics -- affordable, self-service solutions that overcome the
limitations of on-premise solutions."

Boomi AtomSphere greatly reduces the cost and complexity normally
associated with integrating applications. AtomSphere dramatically shortens
time to market for new independent software vendors (ISVs) and eliminates
integration headaches for existing ISVs. It gives ISVs the ability to "go
deep," building strong competitive differentiation with rich
functionality, while Boomi "goes wide" by handling integration with
applications in the cloud and behind the firewall.

"Partnering with Quentin and his team at PivotLink was a natural fit for
both of us," said Bob Moul, CEO and president of Boomi. "Combining
on-demand business intelligence with on-demand integration delivers the
ultimate in terms of time to value, ease of use and richness of
functionality for PivotLink customers. We warmly welcome PivotLink and its
impressive roster of customers to the Boomi community."
