CEO Tony Holcombe named to GTB Power100, re-elected to CTIA board

In recognition of his ongoing leadership in the mobile industry, Tony Holcombe,
President and CEO of Syniverse Technologies (NYSE:SVR), has been named to the
2009 Global Telecoms Business (GTB) Power100 and has been chosen to serve a
third consecutive term on the board of directors of CTIA-The Wireless
Association®.

The annual GTB Power100 recognizes the 100 most powerful and influential people
in the global telecommunications industry. GTB Editor Alan Burkitt-Gray cited
Holcombe`s leadership of Syniverse during a time that has included several
strategic acquisitions and significant expansion of the company`s global
footprint. The Power100 is created based on nominations from GTB readers and
other telecom leaders.

Holcombe also was re-elected as a member of the CTIA Board of Directors.
Holcombe and Syniverse maintain an active involvement with the organization in
